The direction had wanted a preventive conservation policy since the Museum of Contemporary Art direction was first built, and commissioned Cartel Collections to assist with the undertaking. Cartel developed a team of contemporary art conservation specialists to help the museum successfully achieve its objectives. Cartel trained the museum staff and advised on storage equipment.
